Here I want to mention some popular attacks but I don’t want to give me the name of services because lot of peoples emotions and trust on these services. And second thing these services introducing several techniques with time to make their services more secure.

Credit card:-One Russian attacker (called Maxim) actually managed to intrude into a merchant internet site and obtained 300,000 credit card numbers from its database. He then attempted extortion by demanding protection money ($100,000) from the merchant. The merchant refuses to oblige. Following this, the attacker published about 25,000 of the credit card numbers on the internet!

E-mail site: - In 1999, a Swedish hacker broke into one famous mail website and created a mirror site. This site allowed to anyone to enter mail user’s email id and read his/her emails!

Bank service:- In 1995, A Russian hacker broke into one x bank’s computers remotely, stealing $12million.Although the attacker was traced, it was very difficult to get him extradited from the court case.

Some internet sites: - In year 2000, there was an attack against six popular internet sites where authorized user of these sites failed to login or access these sites.

In 2005 as independent survey was conducted to invite people’s opinions about the losses that occur due to successful attacks on security, the survey pegged the losses at an average of $455,848,000. Next year, this figure reduced to 4201,757,340!

Sometime it might happen that your system automatically get shutdown while working , restart again itself. I don’t need to tell causes of improper shutdown, right ????  It happened with me twice. First I thought it happen due to lose power connection problem or cable fault. I keep working on it then I realize it happen because some system files get corrupt. After that I reboot my system to recover that files. Now it’s working properly.

Lot of times system files get corrupt due to viruses and improper shutdown. So always shutdown your system properly and use real time antivirus software to keep your system safe from viruses.

How to boost the performance of your firefox

Monzilla firefox is one of my favorite browsers which have one feature pipelining which really make it really fast than another browser. By default it is disable, so make it enable to get good results.

Enable pipelining and increase pipelining maxrequests

Like in processors pipelines concept is there to fast execution of instructions so processor ultimately execute programs fast. Same concept is used in firefox to get fast result.

Open your firefox browser, type about:config in address bar. Then you will get filter option, type network in filter .then find network.hhtp.pipelining option in below list and make it enable by changing its value false to true. Just below that second option is network.http.pipelining.maxrequests, change its value 4 to 10 to increase pipeline maximum requests.

When we are installing something in our system then we are always receiving some pop-up messages to keep that software updated. We are clicking on it for ok, cancel, not now, ignore, and ask me later, abort.

Sometime hackers send you such Pop-messages to hack your system. When you click on ok, cancel, not now, ignore, and ask me later, abort .these buttons include some different code that you don’t know. When you are clicking on any button, that code get activated and simply they hack your computer. Like this they hack your all data and everything.

For example, when you send any comment then I will get your IP address with that I can send any Pop message to hack your computer.

When you are not sure about Pop-messages then don’t click on any button.

How to remove your BIOS password and administration password ?

Sometimes it happens that you forget your password or anyone will give password to your computer without your knowing. At that time it is difficult to get that password. If you don’t get password then you need installed your operating system again. To avoid this there are four techniques to remove passwords. These techniques are varying with company brands; still first one is widely used.

They are

1) In market cracking passwords cd’s are available; use that to remove bios and administration password

2) Remove your CMOS battery lies on motherboard which erased your administration

Password.

3) press ‘f’ and ‘j’ key at the same time before starting your computer then start your computer , it will erased your all passwords.

4) Change the position of jumper which lies on motherboard and start your computer. Before next start again change places the jumper to its original place and you will find that all your password get erase.
